Control Loader Systems
Servos & Simulation provides two generic control loading systems. One is a High Force, Low Fidelity Control Loader for systems that require an unsophisticated loader (spring) and have a lower specification requirement (FAA Level 5). The second is a High Force, High Fidelity Control Loader for systems requiring the highest specifications (FAA Level D and beyond).
Applications for these systems include new flight training environments, replacement for existing flight training environments and any application where the controls need to be loaded such as flight pedals, nose wheel steering, stabilizer trim and the like. Servos & Simulation can modify these systems to function in terrain, water and space craft applications.
All of the control loader designs utilize Servos & Simulation existing actutor designs and an integrated electronics package, full drawing package and system manuals. Contact the engineering department for more information.
Model 300-X - High Force Low Fidelity Electric Digital Control Loader
Applications for this model are intended to be for FTD simulators that previously would not be able to have loading due to cost considerations and easily replaces spring type systems for less than the cost of a mechanical spring type system and allows for trimming/modifying of the controls via software. These systems use AC motors, therefore there is some friction and inertia reflected back into the controls. This system can be designed for most peak force requirements and is determined by contract.
Model 400-X - High Force, High Fidelity Electric Digital Control Loader
Applications for this model include but are not limited to FAA Level D Simulator flight controls for both rotary and fixed wing applications, terrestrial craft, and water craft. This system can be designed for most peak force requirements and is determined by contract.
