Mission Statement & Information
Mission Statement
It is our pleasure to introduce you to Servos &
Simulation, Incorporated (S&SI). We pride ourselves with the reputation we have
earned during the past twenty plus years in the development of Flight Trainers
and Simulation. Since 1981, our goal has been to provide quality products,
responsive service and extensive knowledge to our customers; both commercial and
military.
Our associates have diverse backgrounds. They
bring to the company skills learned and attained with much larger organizations
such as Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics Corp. Our key staff members have
hands-on operational experience with major military, commercial aircraft, and
ocean systems. We use our acquired resources to meld our high technology
engineering services with hands-on operational experience.
From the beginning, we provide our customers with realistic cost and schedule
estimates. Whenever the statement of work or product description is definitive,
we will take on most jobs on a firm fixed price basis. This provides our
customers with well defined limits of exposure and schedule. If the SOW or
specification is vague or indefinable, we will undertake projects on a cost plus
fixed fee or not to exceed basis. In addition to getting the job done right the
first time, we provide documentation, manuals and after sales support throughout
the life of the product. We go the extra mile to keep our customers satisfied!
Company Information
Servos & Simulation, Incorporated (S&SI) was
formed in 1981 by Edward Bruce Baker. During the early years, the corporate
charter was to provide engineering services to larger aerospace companies on a
subcontract basis. Most of these efforts pivoted around major military weapons
and flight control systems.
In the late 1980s, S&SI's first product line, the
Electric Digital Control Loading system, was introduced. It became an immediate
success. As the years passed, S&SI's Electric Digital Control Loader surpassed
all the other competition combined, both in sales and service, to become the
standard and leader in the industry.
In the early 1990s, Electric Digital Control
Loader actuation technology evolved into Motion Systems for the Simulation
Industry. It became an instant success as it developed from an engineering
curiosity to a clean, low cost solution for simple motion systems. Because of
its simplicity and low cost, the small motion systems soon took hold of the
entertainment ride industry. After its introduction, a standard product line
evolved and many custom designed units were made and delivered.
